Here we go!

Okay, I know. I've definitely got a cheesy theme going for this blog. Cheese, cheese and more cheese. But I love it! I'd been trying to come up with a fun, catchy, creative title for this blog for the past few weeks and no matter what I thought up, I just kept circling back to the fairy-tale idea. Who doesn't like to think of their day to day life as pages from a book? So step one accomplished: I had my title. Then came the fun part: sprucing up my page. I just happened to bump into an amazing background at the Shabby Blog website that was called (no joke!) "fairytale" ! Okay I thought, I have a theme and I can definitely run with this! It's definitely still a work in progress (there is just so much you can do to your blog, I had no idea!), but I'm so excited to be getting the ball rolling.

I guess I should give a little blog background. I had a blog when I was at Pepperdine that I think I kept up pretty well (though to be completely honest, it was a while ago and I can't exactly remember!). When Taylor and I got engaged he created a website for us to use as a blog. We updated it with posts and pictures during the wedding planning process, but had to change it over to a regular website after we got married. We kept that one up semi-regularly, but recently decided not to hold on to our domain (we really can't justify paying for a website that we rarely use)...which meant that it was definitely time for a new blog. So here we go!
