Valentine's Day 2019

We had a fabulous Valentine's day this year!

It started with a cute little photo shoot at home so I could add pictures to Arden & Turner's class Valentines (which turned out super adorable if I do say so myself!):

We had to craft Arden's very first Valentine's Day mailbox for school...it turned out pretty cute!!

Arden & Turner's school Valentine's also turned out pretty cute! And they were super easy - I found the little tags on Etsy & had them printed, added pictures of each kiddo to the back with double-sided tape, punched a hole in each tag, found cute heart ribbon to tie them to the pouches of apple sauce, and voila!

We also made little Valentines for A&T's teachers, but I forgot to take pictures! For their main teachers we made a card & attached it to a medium-sized box of chocolates (with a Dunkin gc attached, of course!), and for the office ladies we attached a cute card to tube of Valentine candy.

We read lots of Valentine books leading up to Valentine's Day! I'm trying to build up our collection of holiday books and buy one or two to add to our stash each holiday, but lately I've been borrowing a bunch of books each holiday from the library. It's a great way to see if we like them before we buy them!

We definitely sported heart jammies:

Valentine's Day morning I had little heart-shaped baskets waiting for the kiddos at their table in the kitchen, filled with a stuffed animal, a new book, fruit snacks, and even heart sunglasses for Arden:

I may have gone a tiny bit overboard on Valentine's Day morning and even made heart-shaped pink pancakes and cut strawberries into hearts. All the hearts!

And the day ended with really fun class parties at school!
