{Baby3} Big Sibling Hospital Gifts

Someone told me about the idea of having a few "big sibling" gifts ready for the kiddos when they come to visit the new baby at the hospital and I knew I had to put something together for A&T.

I started collecting little gifts a few months ahead of time, just picking up things here and there when I saw something cute or on sale.
For each kid I ended up with:
A big sibling book
An I spy book
A stuffed animal (doll for Arden)
A pair of sunglasses
A pair of binoculars
And then I tossed in a bag of fruit snacks in each bag

I tried to focus on stuff that would either be relevant (big sibling book), or a good distraction while they were at the hospital like the I spy book and the binoculars (I thought they'd get a kick out of using them to look out our room window since I knew we'd be on a high floor).

I got two gift bags at the dollar store, printed out tags with their names, and called it done!
And then we just had to remember to get the bags in the car on the day we went in to the hospital :)

The kids were super excited about their gifts!
We tried to tell them that they were gifts from their new baby sister, but unfortunately they didn't fully understand the concept so we just rolled with the fact that they were getting special little gifts for being big siblings (again, in Arden's case).

Arden was super excited to introduce her new Elsa to baby sister - super sweet:

So all in all it was fun for me to put these together and I'm glad we had a little something just for them when they visited us in the hospital!
