NYC

An extra vacation day was a perfect excuse for a quick trip to New York last weekend (though my mom would say I never need an excuse to visit!). We made the best use of my three days there and were constantly on the go! Lots of shopping (H&M, how I love you ***and by the way Dallasites, have you heard the news???? I can hardly contain my excitement***), a family dinner at a classic New York diner, and a good amount of mother-daughter bonding. On top of all that, this weekend was my 5-year High School reunion. 10% of our class attended (that would be a grand total of 5 of us), but it was a ton of fun to catch up, discuss what our classmates are doing now, and reminisce while we visited all our old classrooms. Pictures tell my story well, so here are a few from the weekend!

Yes, our high school has a grand entrance with a red carpet! It's a perfect spot for pictures. In fact, we took our graduation pictures in this exact spot 5 years ago (wearing white wedding dresses of course).

Manhattan from the air, I'm sure everyone around me thought I was a crazy tourist.
