How far along? 19 Weeks
Total weight gain: 6 lbs total
Maternity clothes? Yes! Well not all the time, but I'm loving them more and more. The maternity jeans I ordered last week arrived in the mail and they are awesome - thank goodness that Gap carries long lengths! Jeans have always been incredibly hard for me to find (tall skinny problems, I know) and so I've kind of been dreading find a pair of maternity jeans. I totally lucked out though and the pair I got fits just about as perfectly as a pair of maternity pants can fit. They are wonderfully long and just a little loose in the hips, which I think will be just fine in time. Besides that, Taylor and I went to the mall today and discovered that Macy's has a totally respectable section of maternity clothes! Win!
Stretch marks? Not yet, hoping it stays that way. I've been lotion-ing up at least once a day. Right now my favorite thing to use is coconut oil - feels very moisturizing and smells delicious! Pina colada anyone?
Sleep: Great!
Best moment this week: Driving to Tusla this weekend for Hayden's baby shower. It was a long trip (4 hours each way!) but so fun to get to spend the day with friends and getting to shower baby Novak.
Worst Moment this week: Got nothing
Miss Anything? Same as last week: I really miss being able to really work out
Movement: Still feeling little flutters here and there - it's such a cool feeling! Every now and then I catch a fluttery feeling and it dawns on me that it's not just my stomach growling and that it's the baby! Taylor has even felt her move, which is awesome!
Cravings: Nothing in particular this week. I think trying to eat healthier has helped lessen the cravings for bad foods. That said, sweets have still been awfully appealing.
Symptoms: Shortness of breath if I walk too quickly (or up a flight of stairs). My nose is still a little congested in the mornings too.
Mood: Overall good. I can feel an occasional swing but I'm trying to keep them reigned in. I can go from happy to annoyed or sad pretty quickly these days!
Looking forward to: a fun work event this week at the Omni Hotel in downtown!
