16 Weeks

How far along? 16 Weeks

Total weight gain: Flat from last week. 2.7 lbs total.

Maternity clothes? Tops for lounging around the house, yes. All others, not quite yet.

Sleep: Not to shabby this week.

Best moment this week: Got a few!
-Had fun celebrating my brother-in-law's 23rd birthday last weekend. Happy birthday Jaxon!
-Ordered and received invitations for a baby shower I'm co-hosting in April for one of my best friends. They turned out even better than I was hoping and I can't wait to get them in the mail. It was my first time ordering from Minted and I am a fan - the shipping was super fast, packaging was pretty & fun, and the product is just gorgeous.
-Also, as a follow-up to my "looking forward to" from week 15, Taylor and I went back to BBB to test out baby carriers and take a second look at car seats. It's so fun shopping for and thinking about our little babe!

Worst Moment this week: Not baby related - signed up for a fun Pepperdine Alumni networking event in April and then realized that I have a work conflict that night and can't go. Boo!

Miss Anything? Pilates. And a good workout. I'm looking forward to our next appointment in a few weeks where I'm hoping to doctor says I can go back to aerobic exercise.

Cravings: Apples. At least one a day, every day. Sometimes two. Nom.

Symptoms: Headaches lately. At first I thought they were due to dehydration, but I got them at least 3 evenings last week. They're not bad enough to need to take anything yet (though Tylenol would be okay), but just annoying. Also nasal congestion.

Looking forward to: Touring one more daycare this week + continuing to plan two baby showers (one is the one I mentioned above and the other is a month later for another good friend).

OH AND: hitting week 16 means that I'm officially in the window of:

I could theoretically start to feel the baby move any day now

I absolutely cannot wait. They say that you can start feeling little bubbles, flutters, pops, or tickles between weeks 16-20. I'm really hoping for sooner than later! Just about every morning and night Taylor puts his hands on my stomach and tries to feel her move. He's excited too.

Baby girl is the size of an avocado this week!
4.6 inches and 3.5 ounces.
