Velvet Taco is definitely on my list of favorite taco joints in Dallas. It's a casual, order-at-the-bar kind of place and their food is always delicious.
After our run this morning, tacos seemed like the obvious meal choice.
I'm a sucker for breakfast tacos and so usually end up ordering some variation of an egg/bacon/cheese taco every time we go. Mine is on the right - egg and bacon goodness (later topped with cheese). Taylor's are the two on the left (and are slightly more adventurous): a barbacoa beef taco with egg, corn pico and salsa verde topped with micro cilantro, and then a roast pork taco with egg, tomato-poblano salsa and chili powder, topped with arugula. I had bites of both. And shared a bit or two of mine, of course.
