{BabyT} Bumpdate: 38 Weeks

I'm not quite ready to pop, but getting very, very close!

Taylor and I had fun trying to take the bubble gum picture above.
It's actually harder than you'd think to blow a really big bubble & snap a picture before it pops!

Nursery update:
We hung the last piece of art on the wall (a custom sign from Mercy Inspired) & it looks perfect.
{I'm planning to bring the sign with us to the hospital to hang on our door}
The dresser drawers are full {and organized!}.
The sheets are clean & diapers are stocked.
I think we're officially calling the room done.

Maternity pictures are done and posted on the blog.

I finished making little thank you gifts for our nurses at the hospital.

I also finished making a little banner for BabyT's hospital bassinet.
{It ended up being super easy to make & materials were under $2!}

The infant car seat is sitting in our back seat - I just need to give it a good cleaning this weekend.

I packed more of my hospital bag.
BabyT's stuff is totally packed and ready to go.
Arden's bag is still just a list on paper.

Mom Update
This past week I got a haircut & another pedicure.
I don't think I've gotten pedicures this often in my life ever before.

Weight gain @ 38 weeks = 24.5 lbs.

I'm still doing pilates every day, but I'm finding that I need to modify things a bit more lately.
I've given up on full side planks - lifting myself up that much has started making my hips hurt.

Baby Update
My last appointment was much like all my other recent appointments.
BabyT's heartbeat is in the normal range.
So was my blood pressure.
BabyT is still head down.
My OB doesn't think he's too large.
I'm still 1 cm dilated & 50% effaced.

I drilled my doctor on the on-call schedule for the next few weeks.
After going into labor on a holiday weekend last time I'm a little paranoid that the same thing is going to happen again.
The good thing is that my OB is on an alternating weekend schedule right now, so we have a 50/50% chance that she'll be the one to deliver babyT if I go into labor over a weekend.
The bad part about that is that she's not the one who will be on call the weekend after my due date.
Arden was born at 40w+3d, and while I totally get that babyT is on his own schedule, I can't help feeling like he'll arrive around the same time.
We'll just have to wait and see!
