34 & 35 Weeks!
Baby Evelyn is due ONE MONTH from today!
I'm finally starting to see the whole "oh man are you just hiding a basketball under your shirt?" thing that people have been asking me lately. It's honestly hard to tell from my viewpoint (other than yes, my belly is large and I bump into things all.the.time), but these comparison pictures made me realize just how differently I carried Turner vs. Evelyn!
No appointment since last post but I do start having them weekly from now until the end!
I'm mostly feeling okay. I think my biggest downfall has been getting out of my pilates habit over the past few weeks. I tend to notice it a small amount if I don't do it for a day or two, but I'm majorly feeling it after slacking for a few weeks. This week my goal is 10 minutes, every single day. So far I got it in Sunday-Weds! I know I can squeeze at least that much (little?) in and I feel so my better when I'm getting some movement and stretching into my day.
Weight gain at 34 weeks: 14.4 lbs total
Weight gain at 34 weeks: 15.3 lbs total
A pound gain in a week seems slightly inaccurate at this point, and in fact that number has come down a bit already. Currently I'm at almost the exact same weight as the day I delivered Turner...which was slightly lower than the weight I was when I delivered Arden. It's interesting to me that overall with Arden I gained about 26lbs and about 24lbs with Turner, and this time I'm about 10lbs under that BUT I started about 10lbs heavier...which all in all tells me I apparently just get up to the same weight when I'm pregnant!

We made some major strides over the past 2 weeks! Taylor totally finished painting Arden's bunk beds and we moved them up into her room. We just need to move some of her furniture around & then I'll be able to snap some pictures of her new "big girl" room. Suffice it to say that she's thrilled with the bunk beds!
We moved Arden's old crib (that was in toddler bed form) down to the nursery and Taylor got it reassembled - this crib was a hand-me-down from a sweet work friend & we're so glad to have it!!
I finally went through boxes of baby clothing and pulled out the NB & 0-3 sized things we saved, as well as swaddles, towels, burp cloths, etc. There's one big box still missing, full of things like my carriers, the boppy, and surely a few other important newborn things, that I need to find. And then I just need to get everything (including the new things I've been collecting along the way) organized in the nursery.
I'm still on the hunt for a dresser for Turner's room, but we did find an awesome chair-and-a-half on FB Marketplace that Taylor picked up (and fit in the van, no joke!!!) so we have that ready to swap with the glider in Turner's room once we have some strong-brother-help to shuffle furniture around.
I still need to get a few prints framed for the room & then we'll need to take a day to get everything up on the walls.
I probably should pre-register at the hospital here soon!

WHAT THE FAM HAS BEEN UP TO
Basically our weekends involve:
Farmers Market
Swim
Repeat!
It's the best.
Trip to the library with just Arden:
Kiddos being silly:
More pool time:
Arden started weekly swim lessons & loved it!
Daddy & Turner being silly:
I got to see a sweet friend and catch up over pedicures last week.
She showered the kiddos & baby E with gifts!
And then it's the weekend again and of course we're back at the Farmers Market, ha!
This weekend we took a trip the Blase Family Farm for blueberry picking!
This one made me chuckle - but for real, it's SO hard to roll over now!
And while Taylor was quick (and sweet) to point out that I don't really waddle...it sure feels like I do sometimes!
