Snow Day

Today was a snow day in Dallas! Now my north-easternern family and friends might be chuckling at this, which is very understandable since after all this is Dallas...and it was 74 degrees only 2 days ago, but believe me, today was weather-chaos in Dallas. It sleeted very early this morning, around 4am, which set up a good thick layer of ice...everywhere. Then it snowed a little. And then it went down to 19 degrees. By morning, roads were closed, schools were closed, businesses were closed, heck even DFW airport was closed. It was major. Okay, I might be making fun of my state just a tiny bit. It was bad though, definitely too dangerous to go to work. Well, it was too dangerous for me...unfortunately my sweet husband had to go into work. He's working on a huge project (details to come soon...it's top secret for now!) and his team has been working like crazy to get everything done before their deadline so snow days are not exactly an option. Before Taylor braved the icy, treacherous roads, we had a few fun (but freeeezing) moments outside taking pictures! Happy snow day!

PS: What do you think of the blog's mini face-lift? A day off is a wonderful excuse for spending hours playing around with Photoshop and Illustrator!
