Free Birds Premiere

Free Birds (the movie Taylor's company {Reel FX} just finished making) is a week away from hitting theaters, and this weekend we got to attend the Texas premiere!

We actually got to go to two different screenings; the first was Saturday evening and we had a blast! We got to the theater, and of course had to check out the red carpet.

We got great seats and enjoyed the flowing popcorn and soda...

After the movie (which was AWESOME, of course!) we headed to Deep Ellum for the after party at Reel FX.

The studio was definitely decked out for the premiere!

I wish I had taken more pictures at the party, but it was extremely crowded! Besides the appetizers and drinks everywhere, they even had 2 large turkey carving stations - you could fill up a bowl with all the Thanksgiving fixings (turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and even mac & cheese).

This morning we went to the second screening; the "family day" for the movie. Taylor's parents and brother got to go with us. We had another chance to walk the red carpet & take pictures:

There was actually another after party of sorts after the movie this afternoon back at the studio but Taylor and I called it a day and headed home instead (this party was geared towards kids - as much as I wanted to check out the petting zoo, pony rides, and face painting, I just couldn't convince Taylor that we needed to go).

I'm so glad we got to go to the premiere! The movie is awesome (go see it!) and I'm incredibly proud of Reel FX, and of course, my sweet husband.

There's nothing better than a movie ending with his name in the credits (left column, middle!):
